"2016 Clue Suspects Now on Mobile"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the world of some iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack features beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This update focuses solely on these characters, allowing you the freedom to incorporate them into any scenario or crime scene you desire. Whether you choose to play with your nostalgic favorite or mix them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is entirely yours.

The fanbase for the 2016 version has been vocal about their desire to see these characters return, especially since the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see Marmalade responding to the community's requests with this new pack.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode, which is available for free, takes you back to the original 1949 rules of the game. It reintroduces classic mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations.

In the Retro Rules Set, game tokens start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always makes the first move—unless she's not in play, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made from within a room, and the use of Clue Cards is eliminated. Moreover, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to the game.

To experience these exciting updates, head over to the Google Play Store and download the latest version of Clue aka Cluedo.
