Microsoft has revealed that eight games are set to leave the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. The departing titles include Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City, among others.

Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available on Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers enjoy the ability to stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new games on day one based on their subscription tier, and play from a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following eight games are set to be removed from this catalog:

Microsoft is anticipated to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games are removed from the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them. This feature was detailed in an Xbox Wire post, which highlighted that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," on their Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this streaming capability was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, marking its first expansion to consoles.

In light of recent news that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026, fans eager to revisit the series can dive back into GTA 5. Notably, GTA 5 Enhanced is now available on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC, marking its debut on PC Game Pass.
