New AC Shadows Trailer Unlocks PC Specs
Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring optimal performance across various hardware configurations. Ultra-wide monitor support, RTGI, and RT Reflections are also featured. A built-in benchmark tool aids performance testing and compatibility verification.
Minimum specifications for 1080p/30 FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end 4K/60 FPS gameplay at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing requires an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.
The game boasts optimized performance on Intel processors thanks to a partnership, with AMD performance to be evaluated post-launch. Developers aim to address past stuttering issues, building on the performance improvements seen in Mirage compared to previous installments like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
