Adventure RPG with Food Souls The Tale of Food Announces Shutdown

The popular RPG adventure management game, The Tale of Food, featuring anthropomorphic food characters, is closing its doors. Initially launched in China for closed beta in September 2019 and later distributed by Tencent Games, the game's servers will officially shut down on March 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM (UTC+8).

The Tale of Food Shutdown Date:

In-app purchases have been disabled as of February 18th, 2025, and new player registrations are no longer possible. The game has also been removed from the Google Play Store. Existing players can continue enjoying the game until the server closure on March 20th.

Refunds for In-Game Purchases:

Players who made in-game purchases between January 9th and February 18th, 2025, are eligible for a refund. Contact in-game support or email the developers before March 20th to initiate the refund process. Further details regarding the shutdown's terms and conditions can be found on the official The Tale of Food X account.

Server Closures:

It's worth noting that the game's Japan server closed in April 2023, followed by the China server's closure in June 2024. This marks the end of the global version.

While your culinary command adventure is concluding, the official X, Facebook, and Discord communities will remain active, providing a platform for players to share memories and connect.
