The free-to-play RPG AFK Journey is known for its regular seasonal updates, introducing new maps, storylines, and heroes. The upcoming season, "Chains of Eternity," is set to launch globally on January 17th.

Chains of Eternity Season Release Date & Eligibility

The global release of Chains of Eternity is scheduled for January 17th. However, access depends on server age and player progress. Players on servers at least 35 days old who have reached Resonance level 240 and completed all pre-season AFK stages will receive the update on the release date.

Chains of Eternity: New Content

This season brings a wealth of new content, including:

• A new map and story chapter.
• New heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial).
• A new Dream Realm boss: Illucia.

Significant gameplay adjustments are also implemented:

• A daily cap on AFK progress.
• Revised Paragon levels, significantly increasing their impact.
• Exclusive Equipment enhancements, with a substantial boost from +15 to +20, increasing returns on investment in Supreme+ units, albeit at a higher cost.
