AFK Journey: Tiered Character Guide for Success

This AFK Journey tier list helps you determine which characters to prioritize. While most characters are viable, some excel in endgame content. This list ranks characters based on versatility, overall performance in PvE, Dream Realm, and PvP.

AFK Journey Tier List

It's important to note that many AFK Journey heroes are suitable for most content. However, some are superior for challenging endgame activities.

This tier list prioritizes versatility and performance across PvE, Dream Realm, and PvP.

S-Tier Characters

Lily May, a recent addition, is a top-tier Wilder character, offering significant damage and utility. She excels in PvP, PvE, and Dream Realm. Thoran remains a top F2P tank, even with Phraesto's introduction. Reinier is a crucial support for both PvE and PvP. Koko and Smokey & Meerky are essential supports for various game modes. Odie shines in Dream Realm and PvE. Eironn, with Damien and Arden, forms a powerful Arena team. Tasi, another strong Wilder character, provides excellent crowd control. Harak, a Hypogean/Celestial warrior, becomes stronger as battles progress.

A-Tier Characters

Lyca and Vala effectively utilize the Haste stat, boosting attack frequency. Lyca provides party-wide Haste, while Vala increases her own with each kill. Antandra is a solid tank alternative to Thoran. Viperian, excellent with Thoran and Cecia, excels in most modes except Dream Realm. Alsa, a strong DPS mage, is a viable alternative to Carolina in PvP, especially with Eironn. Phraesto, a durable tank, lacks damage output. Ludovic is a valuable Graveborn healer, particularly effective with Talene. Cecia, while still a good Marksman, has decreased in value due to meta shifts. Sonja significantly enhances the Lightborne faction, offering damage and utility.

B-Tier Characters

B-Tier characters are suitable for filling roles but are outclassed by higher-tier options. Valen and Brutus are effective early-game DPS. Granny Dahnie provides decent tanking, debuffs, and healing. Arden and Damien, while meta for PvP, are less useful in other modes. Florabelle is a decent secondary DPS, but requires significant investment. Soren is adequate in PvP but less effective elsewhere. Korin's Dream Realm performance has diminished.

C-Tier Characters

C-Tier characters are useful early-game but quickly become outclassed. Parisa, while offering powerful AoE, is easily replaced later. These characters should be replaced as soon as possible with higher-tier alternatives.
