"Age of Empires Mobile Introduces Mercenary Troops"

Ever dreamed of seeing Joan of Arc leading Roman Centurions into battle or Hannibal Barca deploying Japanese Samurai to sack Rome? With the latest update to Age of Empires Mobile, your dreams can become reality thanks to the new Mercenary Troops system.

When you reach level 26, you'll unlock the Mercenary Camp, a new structure that lets you contract and recruit powerful units normally exclusive to other factions. This system comes with unlockable technology that allows you to further enhance these warriors. Plus, you can secure your first mercenaries for free through a new event that's currently live.

The Mercenary units added to the game include Byzantine Cataphracts, Swiss Pikemen, Persian Immortals, Indian Battle Elephants, Roman Centurions, Egyptian Chariot Archers, Japanese Samurai, and Korean Archers. Each of these units comes with technology to boost their already impressive battlefield capabilities.

Blood MoneyThe new Mercenary Troops system brings to mind the thrilling battles of Total War games, such as Rome: Total War and Medieval II, where overwhelming your enemy with mercenaries was a key strategy.
