Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Head to Sapporo, Japan!
Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Asia for the first time ever, landing in Sapporo, Japan from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025. This landmark event will see 40 elite teams competing at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME for the coveted championship title.
This marks a significant moment for the ALGS, expanding its global reach beyond previous host locations in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany. EA's announcement highlighted the strong Japanese Apex Legends community and the considerable fan demand for an Asian-based offline tournament. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, emphasized the excitement of celebrating this milestone in Sapporo's iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.
Specific tournament details and ticketing information will be revealed at a later date. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto expressed the city's enthusiasm, extending a warm welcome to all athletes, officials, and fans.
