How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After numerous attempts, we've successfully navigated **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While the stages don't demand high gaming skill or extensive exploration, they do require **extensive Reputation grinding**. We're talking a lot of grinding!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you need to gather **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the top rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate the NPC with headphones, **Damiro D. Mado**, on the second floor. He'll give you the Arata Stage 1 quest, requiring you to collect **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to obtain these is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, shown below, and then crafting them at a workstation. Check your Reputation with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in the black suit and tie. Once you have **all 20 fragments**, transform them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the workstation. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you'll need to switch to **permadeath** mode to secure the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up with strong allies, as solo missions can be quite challenging.

Once you've amassed **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. Find the man with the scalpel, dressed in a black suit by the door, known as **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**.

Hand over the five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage two of the **Arata-Proto armor** acquisition. There's been much debate about the required Reputation, with some players suggesting 75,000 or 90,000 to 100,000, but for guaranteed success, **100,000 Reputation points** are essential.

Remember, you must play the second and third Arata Stages in *GHOUL://RE* on **PD servers only**. Attempting otherwise will result in a repeated response from the Black Reaper, preventing you from completing Arata Stage 2 or accessing Arata Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy," additional fragments, and a significant sum of money. You'll need to stay in **PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.

Gather a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and save up **500,000 Yen**. Then, visit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage. With practice, even average players can conquer this challenge.

Be prepared for potential deaths, as each retry will cost another **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. Once you've defeated Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, remember that while Arata armor offers fantastic buffs, it also drains your hunger rapidly and prevents you from eating while equipped.

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

Arata armor is incredibly powerful but comes with a significant drawback: it **drains your hunger** at an alarming rate, and you can't eat while wearing it. To replenish hunger, you must **remove the armor**.

Despite this, the armor's benefits are immense. You'll be immune to being **ragdolled**, a massive advantage in any scenario. Additionally, Arata makes your character **increasingly "tanky"**, capable of withstanding and dealing significant damage. If your hunger bar depletes during combat, the armor will start consuming your **health bar**. Be cautious, especially during boss fights, and remove the armor if it becomes too risky.

**Reputation Grinding**

The fastest way to accumulate the necessary Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. While risky, each boss killed in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, far more than the **500** outside PD. Killing Ghouls only yields **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for Arata quests.
