ARK: Survival Ascended's Extended Content Roadmap Unveiled

Studio Wildcard has unveiled an ambitious content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, extending through late 2026. This roadmap details the continued evolution of the ARK: Survival Evolved remaster, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 for enhanced performance and introducing a steady stream of new content.

Key highlights of the roadmap include:

• Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This significant update will boost performance and pave the way for individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size. Nvidia's frame generation will also return.

• New Maps and Creatures: The roadmap promises a mix of free and paid content. Free additions include remastered versions of Ragnarok, Valguero, Genesis (Parts 1 & 2), and Fjordur, each accompanied by community-voted creatures. A new premium map will debut in June 2025, with details to be revealed later. Several "Fantastic Tames" (new creatures) are also planned throughout the roadmap. A free Bison will be added in April 2025.

• Bob's True Tales Integration: Parts 1 and 2 of this previously announced content will be released alongside the Genesis Ascended updates.
