Assassin’s Creed Shadows Roadmap Reveals a Year of Free Content and Story Drops

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has unveiled an exciting year 1 post-launch roadmap that promises to keep players engaged with a plethora of new content and story developments. Ubisoft, the game's developer, shared the roadmap on Twitter (X) on May 1, detailing the upcoming enhancements to Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows).

Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap

Since its launch over a month ago, AC Shadows has been a hit among fans, and Ubisoft is committed to enriching the game further. The roadmap includes multiple free Story Drops, which are significant additions to the game's narrative and gameplay. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, titled The Claws of Awaji, set to launch later this year. This DLC will take players to the newly introduced island of Awaji, offering a fresh region to explore post the base game's epilogue. Players can look forward to encountering new enemies, unlocking new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
