Bam Margera to Feature in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence

by Madison Apr 13,2025

Bam Margera, the former professional skateboarder known for his role in the Jackass series, will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting update was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Initially, Hawk was told it was not possible, but the skateboarding icon's persistence paid off. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera's journey has been marked by well-publicized struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab stints and his dismissal from the Jackass Forever project. Additionally, he was involved in a legal dispute that resulted in a restraining order against him by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine, following alleged threats to Tremaine and his family.

Adding to the buzz, Hawk and Margera recently shared a video of themselves skateboarding together, sparking initial speculation about Margera's potential return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game, developed by Iron Galaxy, has overcome significant challenges, including the near cancellation following the merger of its original developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
