Best Batman Games, Ranked

The Dark Knight's reign in the video game world was once a constant stream of new titles. Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series, in particular, revolutionized superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.

Yet, recently, Batman's video game presence has significantly diminished. A true solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans eagerly anticipate upcoming superhero games, those wanting to don the cowl will have to explore the back catalog to discover the best Batman games.

He featured prominently in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though it's not strictly a Batman-centric title. Importantly, the Arkhamverse expanded with a new VR entry. This review has been updated to reflect this, with the VR game section expanded and additional galleries added for some of the best Batman games.
