Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

The story isn't quite finished after the initial credits. In my playthrough, the credits rolled after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, I still needed to unlock the Act 3 and Epilogue trophies. To reach the true ending, complete Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro's personal stories. Then, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko to trigger the complete ending and associated achievements.

Unique Assassin-themed gear for Naoe and Templar-themed gear for Yasuke become available near the game's conclusion. These armor sets boast perks enhancing each character's playstyle and offer a nostalgic touch for longtime Assassin’s Creed fans.

Endgame content allows players to progress beyond the credits, leveling up to the game's maximum level cap.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story concludes at launch, the journey continues! Expect new content via the Animus and updates to the in-game store. Furthermore, a story expansion, "Claws of Awaji," is slated for release later in 2025. This DLC will transport players to the Island of Awaji, adding over 10 hours of gameplay.
