In a recent post on Twitter/X, Bethesda's official account teased an announcement scheduled for tomorrow at 8am PT/11am ET, which will be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch. Although the exact nature of the announcement remains under wraps, the prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork strongly hint at what's to come.

Speculation about an Oblivion remake has been rampant for years, with recent weeks seeing a surge in leaks. The first hint came from a 2020 Bethesda release schedule leak during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, suggesting an Oblivion remaster planned for fiscal year 2022. While that timeline has long passed, potentially indicating a canceled project, a January leak this year suggested a full-scale remake in collaboration with support studio Virtuos. The speculation reached a fever pitch last week when leaks from Virtuos' website surfaced, featuring images of the remake in progress.

Should these recent leaks hold true, fans can look forward to The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered launching on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. A Deluxe Edition, complete with the iconic horse armor, is also rumored to be part of the release.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be a historic announcement, where Bethesda is expected to confirm these details and share further insights into the eagerly awaited remaster.
