Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch's location isn't enough. First, you must open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus, where the Pack-a-Punch initially resides.

To open it: Progress through the Subterranean Temple area of the map. At the altar, use the Amulet (which you'll always start with) to activate the doorway.
