CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Enigmatic Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the VP and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted the need for an "exceptional team" for Project Hadar. The company is actively seeking skilled developers to fill various roles and contribute to the development of this highly anticipated game.

Project Hadar stands out as it introduces a completely new universe from CD Projekt, distinct from the universes of The Witcher series, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, which originated from a tabletop RPG. While specific details about Project Hadar are still under wraps—except for the confirmation that it won't be a space horror—the project has moved beyond its initial stages, involving about twenty people until recently.

Currently, the Hadar team is expanding and recruiting for several key positions, including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiasm from top developers, who describe this as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," indicates that Project Hadar is now entering full-scale production.

CD Projekt Red is managing multiple projects simultaneously. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural game of the new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another game set within The Witcher universe.
