Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island

Initially, proceed to the Wild Island mission marker to locate Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. However, a higher-priority objective emerges: eliminating nearby mercenaries. These enemies are clearly marked, eliminating the need for searching.

Strong equipment is advisable, as further encounters await. Eliminate all mercenaries to unlock the path to Lodochka, triggering an optional objective: activating the ventilation system.

Activate the Ventilation System

To complete this optional objective, consult your map. Locate the marked fuse, then navigate to the marked engineering rooms (north). Beware of an invisible enemy within.

Inside the shelter, follow the passageways to the engine room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system, paving the way for mission progression. While this objective offers no unique rewards, it simplifies subsequent tasks.

Find the Signal Source

Before proceeding, consider acquiring superior weaponry. At the marked location (a cave entrance near the water), navigate westward through the caverns, overcoming various obstacles. A broken pipe provides access to higher cave levels.

Locate the large cone-shaped spire and the emitter at the marked point beside it. An invisible enemy guards the exit. Return to Professor Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
