Civilization 7's post-release roadmap revealed
Civilization VII's first DLC, *Crossroads of the World*, arrives in March, launching in two parts. The initial release features Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, introducing Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Three weeks later, the second installment adds Simon Bolivar as a leader and introduces Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.
A second DLC, *Right to Rule*, is planned for the second or third quarter of 2025 (April-September), adding two more leaders, four new civilizations, and fresh natural wonders to the game.
Firaxis is committed to ongoing improvements, including new challenges and events. March will see the addition of in-game events and natural wonders such as the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
Civilization VII will launch on February 11th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gain five days early access, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released.
Firaxis Games and 2K have declared Civilization VII “gold,” signifying the completion of primary development and eliminating the risk of further delays, barring unforeseen circumstances. This latest entry in the acclaimed series will be available on all modern platforms, including Steam Deck.
