"What the Clash? Pushes Boundaries, Coming Soon to Apple Arcade"
Triband, the masterminds behind the quirky hits What the Golf? and What the Car?, are back with another laugh-out-loud release: What the Clash?. This time, they're diving into the realm of competitive 1v1 multiplayer, bringing their signature twist to the genre.
At its heart, What the Clash? is a collection of minigames, reminiscent of classics like Mario Party. You'll challenge a friend in a variety of games, from table tennis with a mechanical flair to snowboarding. The game promises leaderboard climbing and tournament action, but knowing Triband, expect the unexpected.
The twist? You play as a hand with a body, adding a layer of physics-based hilarity and challenge to each minigame. With modifiers that can transform regular Archery into Toasy Archery, the gameplay is anything but ordinary.
Clash the AppleWhat the Clash? is set to launch on May 1st, marking an exciting new chapter in the What the...? series. However, fans hoping to play on Android or standard iOS devices will be disappointed, as What the Clash? will be exclusive to Apple Arcade.
For those considering a subscription, this might be the perfect incentive to dive into Apple's gaming service. But if you're set on supporting indie developers, don't forget to check out our regular feature, Off the AppStore, where we highlight unique and thrilling releases available on alternative platforms.
