"Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Restores Compendium"
Today marks the release of a significant update for Crashlands 2, version 1.1, brought to us by Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update responds to player feedback from the original Crashlands and introduces several exciting features and challenges.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, offering a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. On the planet Woanope, enemies are now faster, deal more damage, and boast increased health. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile, testing players' skills to the limit. While there are no new achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty settings, providing a rewarding challenge for seasoned players.
On the other end of the spectrum, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing without the constant threat of enemy attacks. It's the perfect setting for those who want to immerse themselves in the game's story, decorate their bases, and interact with the unique characters of Crashlands 2.
A much-anticipated feature making a return is The Compendium. Responding to community feedback, Butterscotch Shenanigans reintroduced this beloved tool that tracks everything Flux discovers, including the number of pets, recipes, and items yet to be found, helping players reach their completion goals.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With Crashlands 2 Update 1.1, pets have been enhanced to participate in combat, bringing an extra layer of strategy to battles. Each pet now possesses a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, making them invaluable allies in fights.
Gear crafting has seen increased variety with the addition of random bonus stats on armor, alongside a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, offering more customization options for players.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update, allowing for more flexible building on various terrains, customizable home teleporter placement, and adjustable night-time darkness settings, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. Having launched on April 10th, this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening and responding to player feedback.
