Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Critical Role Delays Campaign 3 Finale Due to Los Angeles Fires

This week's episode of Critical Role's Campaign 3 has been postponed due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The fires have directly impacted the cast, crew, and community, forcing a postponement of episode 119. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further delays remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its highly anticipated conclusion, leaving fans on the edge of their seats after a major cliffhanger in the previous episode. The exact number of remaining episodes is yet to be confirmed. Following the campaign's end, Critical Role may launch a new campaign using their Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th stream cancellation was announced due to the emergency situation. Several cast and crew members were directly affected, including Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray, who had to evacuate their home with their pet. Producer Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home and belongings, but thankfully escaped safely. Other members have shared updates confirming their safety.

While Critical Role aims to resume streaming on January 16th, continued delays are understandable given the ongoing situation. The Critical Role community is urged to remain patient and support those affected by the fires.

In line with their commitment to community, the Critical Role Foundation is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This demonstrates the show's dedication to its motto, "Don't forget to love each other," during this difficult time.
