Crunchyroll Unveils Battle Chasers, Dawn of Monsters for Epic Vault Lineup

by Ellie Dec 11,2024

Crunchyroll's Game Vault expands its library with fifteen new games and previously unreleased DLCs, including the acclaimed Crypt of the NecroDancer and all its additional content. This month's update also introduces visual novels, a first for the platform, showcasing Crunchyroll's commitment to diverse gaming experiences.

Mega and Ultimate Fan members gain exclusive access to this curated collection, free from ads and in-app purchases. The lineup boasts titles like Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Dawn of the Monsters, and Evan's Remains, with mobile access exclusive to Crunchyroll members.

Terry Li, EVP of Emerging Business at Crunchyroll, highlighted the significance of adding visual novels, stating, "Bringing visual novels to Crunchyroll’s game lineup is another example of how we super-serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love of anime. Like manga, visual novels are a source material for hit anime and often expand on beloved series. It is important to offer that content to our audience as part of their membership."

The Game Vault's previous additions, such as Hime's Quest, Thunder Ray, Ponpu, and Yuppie Psycho, demonstrate the platform's ongoing commitment to expanding its offerings. Beyond the Vault, Crunchyroll Games also publishes free-to-play titles like Street Fighter: Duel and the recently reviewed One Punch Man: World (check out our tier list, codes, and beginner's guide for helpful resources).
