Crypt of the NecroDancer Debuts on Android with Rhythm-Packed Action

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure challenges players with its unique gameplay. Initially released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll mobile version is packed with bonus content.

What's the Game About?

Play as Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically-charged crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. With 15 playable characters, each boasting distinct styles, you'll dance to Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack, dodging enemies and collecting loot in procedurally-generated dungeons. Every action must sync with the music; miss a beat, and it's game over. Expect a cast of quirky enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons!

More Than Just a Port

This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins for anime fans. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Furthermore, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is slated for later this year. Crunchyroll subscribers can download the game now on the Google Play Store.
