Cyberpunk 2077 developer revealed why there is no male V in Fortnite
Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Crossover: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited Cyberpunk 2077 content, and the eventual crossover excited many. However, the omission of the male version of protagonist V disappointed some fans, sparking speculation about CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is much simpler.

Patrick Mills, the Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert responsible for the final decision, explained the choice. The bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny being male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Therefore, the absence of male V wasn't a deliberate decision, but a practical one. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite appearance, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
