DC Launches All-Star Superman as Full-Cast Audiobook
*All-Star Superman* is frequently hailed as one of the greatest Superman comics ever created, appearing on top lists such as IGN's Top 25. Fans can now immerse themselves in this iconic story in an exciting new format. DC and Penguin Random House are collaborating to bring *All-Star Superman* to life as a full-cast audiobook.
Meghan Fitzmartin is adapting the screenplay, which was originally penned by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Frank Quitely. Quitely has also contributed a fresh illustration for the audiobook's cover, showcased below:
*All-Star Superman* is a standalone tale set in an alternate universe where Superman faces his imminent demise after flying too close to the sun. The narrative follows Kal-El as he discloses his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarks on a series of heroic challenges akin to the 12 Labors of Hercules. The climax sees him in a final confrontation with his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The *All-Star Superman* audiobook is set to be released on June 24, 2025, a month before James Gunn's *Superman* hits theaters.
*All-Star Superman* was also previously adapted into an animated movie in 2011.
