Death Stranding 2 Release Date Unveiled in Massive Trailer
The eagerly awaited big presentation for *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach* started with a captivating ten-minute trailer, culminating in the thrilling announcement of the game's official release date. Hideo Kojima's latest masterpiece is slated to hit the shelves on June 26, 2025, and will be exclusively available on the PS5.
In addition to the release date, the developers revealed that pre-orders for the game will begin on Monday, March 17. Fans can choose from several editions: the standard digital edition priced at $70, the expanded edition for $80, and a collector’s physical edition, which offers an array of extras, will be available for $230.
Describing the trailer as stunning barely scratches the surface. The visuals are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfectly complemented by an exceptional soundtrack, featuring a track by Woodkid, personally selected by Hideo Kojima.
As the trailer played, the live chat buzzed with thousands of viewers drawing parallels to iconic scenes like "Rumbling" from *Attack on Titan* and characters reminiscent of Snake from *Metal Gear Solid*. The trailer teased new characters and hinted at expansive action sequences that promise to be nothing short of epic. The intriguing tagline "We Shouldn't Have Connected" leaves fans with more questions than answers, but we won't have to wait long to unravel the mystery this summer.
