Delta Force Goes Mobile with Garena, TiMi Alliance

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch

Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter, Delta Force (formerly Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile), the game now sees Garena partnering for its release in various regions.

Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The 2025 launch will encompass Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Gameplay Modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, utilizing four-operator squads.
  • Operations: A three-operator extraction shooter mode. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. Players can loot fallen opponents, encounter bosses, navigate restricted areas, and complete special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, grants exclusive skins but reveals the player's location.

A Modern Take on a Classic:

This iteration of Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and maintains the tactical gameplay the series is known for. Fans of the original 1998 release will find much to appreciate.
