Delta Force Revival: Tactical Shooter Now Available
Garena's much-anticipated revival of the iconic tactical shooter series, Delta Force, is now available across multiple platforms, including iOS and Android, slightly later than initially planned. This latest installment combines the intensity of tactical extraction shooter gameplay with expansive 24v24 battles, allowing players to engage in combat across land, sea, and air using a diverse range of vehicles.
Launching alongside the game is the new season, Eclipse Vigil, which brings a thrilling night and dusk-themed map to the Operations and Warfare modes. This update also introduces night-vision goggles, enhancing the strategic depth of gameplay. Additionally, the new operator, Nox, offers unique abilities tailored for players who enjoy employing stealth and cunning tactics.
The excitement leading up to Delta Force's release was palpable, with Garena announcing over 25 million pre-registrations. The game's commitment to fair play, with no pay-to-win mechanics, along with features like an in-game marketplace for trading gear and cross-progression, has significantly contributed to this buzz.
Light up the night
In addition to the new maps and operator, the Eclipse Vigil season introduces several other enhancements. A long-awaited Kill Cam feature has been added, a standard in first-person shooters that allows players to review their last moments in combat. The sound design has also been revamped, which is especially beneficial for the new low-light maps such as Blackout and Trench Lines.
Further enriching the gameplay, Delta Force includes new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles. A new event, Critical Point, features the dynamic Threshold map, adding an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the game. Fans of massive multiplayer battles akin to those in Battlefield will find much to enjoy in Delta Force.
For players concerned about their device's ability to handle the game's rich graphics, there's no need to worry. If your hardware struggles to keep up, consider exploring our curated list of the best shooters available on iOS and Android to satisfy your gaming cravings.
