Deltarune Chapters 3 & 4: Console Testing Update and Save Transfer News

Toby Fox, creator of Undertale and Deltarune, recently provided an update on the console testing phase for Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4. While significant progress has been made, with fewer bugs reported, testing continues, including the yet-to-be-tested PS5 version. Fox also revealed that the team is working on a crucial feature: transferring save data from the Chapters 1 and 2 demo to the full release. This exciting addition, made possible by recently acquired technology, will allow players to continue their progress seamlessly. "I hope it works!" Fox stated.

With beta testing progressing smoothly, a 2025 release window, previously confirmed by Fox, seems increasingly likely.

A Cryptic Minigame and a New Character Reveal

Fox's characteristically humorous updates continued with a mention of a minigame currently under development. His family and friends' reactions – describing it as "a cry for help because your game is not out" – sparked speculation that this minigame might be intended for Chapter 5, given that Chapters 3 and 4's content is reportedly complete.

More significantly, Fox confirmed the inclusion of a previously unseen character, Tenna, in Chapter 3. Tenna, initially glimpsed during the Spamton Sweepstakes campaign in September 2022, is now officially part of the Deltarune narrative.

Deltarune, the spiritual successor to Undertale, continues to build anticipation with its blend of familiar mechanics and a fresh story, following Kris, Susie, and Ralsei on their world-saving adventure. The upcoming chapters promise further excitement for fans.
