This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and the Legend of Korra studio, Studio Mir, was first announced in 2018. The eight-episode first season is finally ready to unleash its demonic fury.

While plot specifics remain shrouded in secrecy, it seems Dante, as seen in the first three Devil May Cry games, will be the central figure. Interestingly, Johnny Yong Bosch, the voice of Nero in the video game series, will be lending his talents to Dante.

The last mainline entry in the Devil May Cry franchise, Devil May Cry 5, launched in 2019 to widespread critical acclaim, marking a triumphant return after a period of relative quiet following 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry. A top-tier action game, Devil May Cry 5 is a must-play, especially for fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full review here.
