Diablo 4 Unveils Consumables for Season 5

Diablo 4 Season 5 is gearing up to introduce exciting new consumables, revealed through recent Public Test Realm (PTR) discoveries. This week's PTR opening has shed light on several additions, significantly expanding the existing range of healing potions, elixirs, and incense.

These consumables, used to replenish health and provide temporary buffs, are typically acquired through monster slaying, chest looting, crest opening, or merchant purchases. Season 5 will bring four notable additions specifically for the new Infernal Hordes endgame mode: Antipathy (a rare anointment boosting resistance), Blackblood (a common anointment enhancing a random core stat), Vitriol (a magical anointment increasing damage over time), and the Triune Anointment Cache (containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials). Intriguingly, recipes for these anointments suggest crafting will be possible.

The Infernal Hordes mode itself introduces a roguelite-style challenge where players face waves of enemies within 90-second intervals, selecting modifiers between waves to increase difficulty and rewards. Abyssal Scrolls, functioning similarly to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir, will offer further challenge escalation.

While details regarding acquisition methods, usage costs, and crafting material requirements for the new consumables remain scarce, the PTR, open until July 2nd, promises further revelations. Players eagerly await more information on these additions to enhance their Diablo 4 experience.
