Disney Pixel RPG is an upcoming retro-inspired title from the creators of Teppen

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is developing a retro-style RPG in collaboration with Disney. This new title, Disney Pixel RPG, will feature a vast roster of pixel art Disney characters.

Players will assemble a team of iconic Disney characters to battle across multiple worlds inspired by the extensive Disney universe. Gameplay will blend action, battles, and rhythm-based challenges.

Disney Pixel RPG offers character customization, allowing players to create and personalize their own avatar to fight alongside the Disney cast. The game incorporates auto-battling with the option for direct player control during key moments. The narrative centers on combating mysterious programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossover games. Given Disney's extensive library of films and properties, this collaboration promises an even larger pool of potential characters. GungHo's experience managing expansive casts makes them well-suited for this project.
