Only the standard edition is available, but it includes the complete game. Note that Amazon availability may be delayed, as recent Switch releases haven't been available for pre-order there.

What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?

This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, Nintendo released a 3DS version in 2013 featuring eight exclusive levels. This HD release includes all original levels plus the additional 3DS content.

The game maintains its challenging nature, but players can now opt for an easier mode (from the 3DS version) offering extra hearts and assistance. Expect classic gameplay elements: jumping, vine swinging, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and more. Two-player couch co-op is also available with Diddy Kong.
