RGG Studio Launches Like a Dragon 20th Anniversary Merchandise Vote

RGG Studio is celebrating the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Like a Dragon (LAD) series with a unique fan-driven merchandise initiative. Fans can vote for their favorite in-game items to be recreated as real-world merchandise until March 21, 2025.

One hundred items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's iconic dragon mask. The winning item, as stated on the RGG voting website, will be produced and released within the next two years. Voting is limited to once per day. Following the voting period, a survey will determine the final design of the winning merchandise.

Anniversary Plans and Potential Remakes

The 20th-anniversary celebrations, announced on December 8, 2024, during the 19th-anniversary commemoration, include the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama hinted at further events and announcements leading up to the December 2025 anniversary. Given the remakes released during the 10th anniversary (Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami), fans anticipate similar announcements for the 20th.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements

RGG Studio revealed the PC requirements on February 10, 2025. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, making the game accessible to most modern gaming PCs. Compatibility with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam Deck is also confirmed.
