Dredge Sets Sail for Mobile Release
The unsettling fishing simulator, Dredge, is finally setting sail for mobile devices on February 27th! After several release date shifts, fishing enthusiasts can prepare to experience the sanity-bending isolation of the deep sea.
Initially slated for a February 2025 mobile launch, Dredge's iOS App Store listing now proudly displays the February 27th release date. The Android Google Play listing, however, isn't yet updated.
More Than Just Fish
Dredge offers more than just casual fishing fun. Players take on the role of a nameless fisherman navigating a desolate archipelago, selling their catches to the locals. But the gameplay deepens with boat upgrades, exploration of the mysterious islands, and encounters with unsettling nighttime fog. The game features a surprisingly detailed upgrade system and a generous helping of Lovecraftian horror. While details on DLC availability remain unconfirmed, the original game boasts several expansions that broaden the archipelago's scope.
Dredge's low-poly aesthetic creates a captivating visual style well-suited for mobile gaming. With its engaging gameplay and unique atmosphere, it's poised to become a mobile favorite.
