EA Sets 2026 Launch Window for Next Battlefield Game

Electronic Arts has revealed the anticipated release window for the upcoming Battlefield title. The company’s financial report indicates the shooter is slated for release before April 2026.

Industry insider Tom Henderson, citing EA’s historical release trends, suggests the new Battlefield could launch in October or November 2025. EA has yet to confirm a precise date.

The game is under development by four of EA’s in-house studios, with major playtests planned. The developers have also launched a closed testing program, enabling participants to experience core game features. Feedback from these beta sessions will shape the shooter’s final polish before launch.

This announcement also clarifies the status of Need for Speed: Vince Zampella noted that the Battlefield project takes precedence, signaling a delay for the next NFS title.
