After its initial announcement in June 2020 and numerous teasers, skate. is finally ready for console playtesting on PlayStation and Xbox. While there's no confirmed date yet for the PC beta, fans can still register as an Insider to stay in the loop.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) posts, console playtesting has been underway since December, with some activities dating back to September, as seen in a highlight reel. Developer Full Circle continues to invite fans to sign up for ongoing playtesting as the game's development progresses.

Not only will you get early access to the game, but you'll also receive exclusive rewards like an in-game skateboard and stickers when Early Access launches.

skate. is scheduled for an Early Access release in 2025. This latest installment in the franchise arrives nearly a decade after Skate 3 and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, skate. is designed as a free-to-play, live-service game that aims to deliver an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as Full Circle discussed in a previous YouTube interview.
