New eSports Team Format Unveiled at Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 in Tennis Clash

The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to make a grand return in 2025, inviting players worldwide to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year introduces an exciting twist with a new team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool up for grabs. Key sponsors Renault and Mastercard are back, offering players the chance to customize their characters with exclusive Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and utilize the unique Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

The tournament is scheduled to commence in March with open qualifiers, marking the initial stage for players to vie for a spot in the finals. The qualifying rounds will take place from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, setting the stage for the elite competitors. The top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners in the finals, which will be held at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th. The event will feature a live audience and will be streamed on Twitch for viewers around the globe.

What’s New This Year?

A significant change for 2025 is the introduction of a team-based competition. Instead of individual play, finalists will be organized into teams, each led by a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the team captains. Simon, who has been involved with the eSeries as a commentator since 2023 and competed in the Top 8 in 2024, will coach one of the squads. The identity of the opposing captain remains a mystery, though it's hinted to be a Grand Slam winner.

Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?

As the teams are finalized, the competition will escalate with the winning team from the first phase advancing to the winner’s side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team starts in the loser’s bracket. The reigning champion, Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, returns to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's participation reaching 548,000 players from 215 territories, the 2025 tournament promises even fiercer competition.

In celebration of Women’s Day, Tennis Clash is offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. You can download the game from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025, which promises a wealth of engaging content and thrilling matches.
