Catching Lapras EX

Currently, a Lapras EX event is live in Pokémon TCG Pocket. This event features AI battles using Lapras-themed Water decks. Your reward? Promo Packs, which are your only source for Lapras EX.

The catch? Each Promo Pack contains just one card, and Lapras EX is only one possibility. Other cards you might find include Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, and Butterfree. Your odds of getting each are roughly equal, relying entirely on chance. You might get lucky and find Lapras EX in your first pack, or you might need to open many more.

To maximize your chances, focus on the Expert stage battles. While all stages have a chance of dropping a Promo Pack, only the Expert stage guarantees one per battle. Completing all stages also rewards you with Event Hourglasses, allowing you to replenish your stamina and keep farming. If you already have a Pikachu EX deck, you can even auto-battle the Expert stage!

What if I miss the event?

If you don't manage to get Lapras EX before the event concludes, don't worry! Trading is planned for a future update, giving you another avenue to obtain it.
