Unlike its predecessors, Assassin's Creed Shadows introduces a new mechanic where the fog of war isn't automatically cleared by activating Viewpoints. Players must now manually uncover key locations such as Landmarks, Collectibles, Activities, and Quests. Thankfully, IGN's interactive map is here to assist, featuring thousands of meticulously plotted map points to aid your exploration across Japan.

• Collectibles: Legendary Chests, Origami Butterflies, Jizo Statues, Legendary Sumi-e, Valuable Objects, Kano Paintings, Kamon Crests, Cultural Discovery.
• Activities: Kofuns, Shrines, Temple Lost Pages, Kuji-kiri, Kata, Horse Archery, and Hidden Trails.
• Locations: Castles, Viewpoints, Kakuregas, Landmarks, and Hostile Landmarks.
• Services: Gear Vendors, Ornament Vendors, and Port Traders.
• Quests: Main Story Quests, Side Quests, and Contract Targets.
