Fallout Series Resumes Production on Season 2

Amazon Prime's live-action Fallout series is set to begin filming its second season this November, following the successful debut of season one in April. The new season will build upon the cliffhanger ending of the first.

Fallout Season 2: Filming Commences, Cast Details Pending

Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson), confirmed the November start date to Screen Rant. While the complete cast hasn't been officially announced, Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to return. Uggams teased that Betty Pearson will have a significant role, hinting at surprises for viewers. "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."

A tentative release date of sometime in 2026 is speculated, considering the production timeline of season one (filming July 2022, premiere April 2024). However, an official release date remains unconfirmed.

Fallout Season 2 Heads to New Vegas

Producer Graham Wagner revealed that Fallout Season 2 will explore the New Vegas storyline, incorporating the antagonist Robert House. The extent of House's involvement is currently undisclosed, though his presence was subtly introduced in a season one flashback.

Showrunner Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have indicated that season two will expand on untold stories and pivotal moments from the first season, delving deeper into Vault-Tec executives, the origins of the Great War, and featuring additional flashbacks and character development.
