Fantasma, Dynabytes\' augmented reality adventure, adds new languages to coincide with Gamescom Latam
Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure Game
Pocket Gamer recently discovered Dynabytes' Fantasma at Gamescom Latam, a compelling augmented reality (AR) multiplayer GPS adventure game. The game's recent update adds Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support, with German, Italian, and Spanish coming soon.
Fantasma challenges players to hunt and battle mischievous creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in AR, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasma in view while tapping the screen to attack. Defeated Fantasma are captured in special bottles.
The creatures appear based on real-world location, encouraging exploration. Players can deploy sensors to expand their detection range and even team up with others for a cooperative experience.
Fantasma is free-to-play with in-app purchases and available now on the App Store and Google Play. For fans of AR games, this is a title worth checking out. Download links are provided below. (Note: Download links would be inserted here in the original publication).
