Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth have received updates that fix the controller issue
Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update resolves controller vibration issues stemming from motor malfunctions. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from ecological devastation.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's realism and tactile feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment in the trilogy expands the narrative and emphasizes exploration.
While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing and ultimately fell short of fiscal year projections, the exact figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.
However, the company clarified that they don't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure and remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its targets within the 18-month timeframe.
