Fortnite Drops Reload Mode, Bringing Back Classic Guns and Iconic Maps!

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic vibes with a modern twist! This high-octane mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map packed with nostalgic locations from past updates.

What's in Reload Mode?

Reload mode offers squad-based comebacks; a full squad wipe means game over. It's designed for both Battle Royale and Zero Build fans.

The action unfolds on a compact island, featuring iconic spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. No vehicles this time, but expect a powerful arsenal of unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain, and upon reboot, players return with a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds intensity, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, but can be shortened by eliminating opponents. Players can choose to immediately initiate their reboot.

Elimination and Rewards

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the fight intense and strategic.

Complete intro quests for major XP rewards:

• 3 quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
• 6 quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
• 9 quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
• Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
