Best Four-Star Choice for Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact
Which four-star character should you choose in Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact? Whether you’re a new player just starting out or an old veteran eyeing up constellations, it’s a question everyone should be asking.
Which Four-Star To Choose in Lantern Rite Genshin Impact
When it comes to selecting your four-star character during the Lantern Rite event in Genshin Impact, the best choice often depends on your existing roster and team needs. If there's a character you're particularly fond of and don't yet have, or if you're aiming to enhance a favorite with additional constellations, that should be your top pick. However, for those without a clear preference, here are some top recommendations.
The standout choice this time around is the newly introduced four-star character, Lan Yan. As an Anemo shielder, Lan Yan not only boosts survivability for teams that prefer shielding over healing—such as those featuring Hu Tao and Arlecchino—but also enhances damage output through the Viridescent Venerer artifact set by shredding enemy resistance. Since most players won't have her yet, she presents a valuable addition to many lineups. Additionally, if you're pulling for Arlecchino or Clorinde during their banners, you might also snag a Lan Yan or two. Achieving her second constellation can make her shield regenerate with normal attacks, significantly boosting her utility.
Beyond Lan Yan, other excellent four-star options include Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Yaoyao. Let's start with Yaoyao, a robust Dendro healer capable of keeping your entire team healthy. Her skill heals the active character while also dealing damage to enemies, and her burst allows for team-wide healing as you control her directly. Yaoyao is a fantastic choice for teams focusing on bloom, hyperbloom, aggravate, spread, or even burning reactions, and she performs exceptionally well even at constellation zero.
Moving on to the established stars, Xingqiu and Xiangling are among the most powerful four-star units in Genshin Impact. If you're missing either of these characters, they're excellent choices. Xingqiu excels as a Hydro sub-DPS, applying significant Hydro damage and enabling key reactions in freeze and vaporize teams, while also offering damage reduction and minor healing. His final constellation further amplifies his already impressive capabilities.
Xiangling, a Pyro sub-DPS, unleashes a pyronado with her ultimate, dealing substantial damage and applying Pyro for various reactions. Every player receives a copy of Xiangling upon clearing Spiral Abyss floor 5, but her constellations, particularly the fourth one, significantly enhance her burst duration by 40%, making her a near-unstoppable force.
If you already have all these characters, consider which four-star on offer still needs constellations and choose accordingly. This ensures you make the most of the opportunity to strengthen your team without missing out on valuable upgrades.
