Early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline, you'll need to locate the Cell Garden within your Panopticon. Once found, it serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a less hazardous alternative to standard operations.
Multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, and accessing each one follows a consistent pattern regardless of your level. Below, we detail how to locate any Cell Garden and explain its resource-gathering mechanics.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered
Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. To begin, navigate to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. In the left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to access 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.
From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that unlocks the Cell Garden.
This route to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-completion of the main Cell Garden quest, access becomes unrestricted, but acquiring a specific Entitlement is highly recommended.
Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.
How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered
The initial main story mission involving the Cell Garden differs from subsequent visits. Here's how it works outside of the main quest:
- A one-minute time limit is imposed before expulsion.
- The room's layout changes with each entry.
- Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.
Purchasing Entitlements from the Liberty Window extends your Cell Garden time. Some layouts present more complex puzzles, potentially increasing the difficulty. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, becomes available upon reaching CODE level 3.
