Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight in March’s First Community Day

Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will headline the first Community Day of March on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). During this event, Fuecoco will be more commonly found on the map, and trainers will benefit from an elevated Shiny rate, making it the perfect time to catch this fiery Pokémon.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge via its intermediate form, Crocalor, during the event or within the following week, allows it to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Additionally, Skeledirge can learn Torch Song without any time restrictions, enhancing its battle capabilities.

Trainers can also participate in a Special Background Timed Research, which rewards them with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks further boosts the Shiny rate for Fuecoco encounters and must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm (local time).

For an enhanced experience, trainers can purchase a $2.00 Community Day Special Research ticket. This ticket not only grants access to Battle Passes and Rare Candies but also three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background. The ticket can also be gifted to friends with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Pokémon GO has also revealed the schedule for Community Day events from March to May 2025, all taking place on weekends. The lineup includes:

Pokémon GO Beloved Buddies Event

The Beloved Buddies event, launched on February 11, 2025, introduces Dhelmise and a unique Timed Research that presents trainers with two paths to follow, each led by iconic characters from the Pokémon GO universe: Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket.

Before choosing a path, trainers complete initial tasks that reward them with Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Following this, they select either the Candela or Arlo path, each offering distinct rewards.

The Candela path focuses on nurturing your Buddy Pokémon relationship and includes rewards such as Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

On the other hand, the Arlo path is geared towards catching Pokémon and battling Team GO Rocket, rewarding players with a Rocket Radar, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
