TotK Zonai Device Dispensers as Gacha Machines

Nintendo Tokyo has launched a new line of collectible Zonai Device magnetic capsule toys, dispensed via their gacha machine. This article details these new collectibles.

Six New Tears of the Kingdom Zonai Device Capsules

Nintendo Tokyo's gachapon (gacha machine) now features six magnetic Zonai Device capsule toys, exclusive to this location. These miniature versions of iconic The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom devices are randomly dispensed. Collectors can find a Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, and Rocket. Each toy includes a magnet designed to resemble the Ultrahand's adhesive, mirroring in-game functionality. The capsules themselves are styled after the in-game Device Dispensers.

Unlike acquiring these devices in-game, these collectibles require a monetary investment. Each capsule costs approximately $4, with a two-capsule purchase limit per transaction. Repeat attempts require rejoining the queue, which may be lengthy given the game's popularity.

Previous Nintendo Gachapon Releases

Prior to the Zonai Devices, Nintendo Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto offered Controller Button Collection gachapon in June 2021, showcasing retro Famicom and NES controller keychains. A second wave in July 2024 featured SNES, N64, and GameCube designs.

These exclusive items are also available at Nintendo's Narita Airport Check-In booth. While the Zonai Devices are currently Tokyo-exclusive, future availability at other locations or through resellers (at potentially inflated prices) is possible.
