New Game+ mode in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will be free
The gaming world is back in full swing after the holiday break, and we have some exciting news! While we're all still waiting on Nintendo Switch 2 news, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled a captivating gameplay presentation for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The showcase highlighted extensive ship customization, expansive open-sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and a diverse range of explorable locations. A key feature is Goro Majima's dual combat styles: a lightning-fast, agile approach and a more tactical style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.
Players can assemble a unique crew of allies to aid in combat, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises a wealth of hidden islands and original side quests to discover.
A significant announcement came at the presentation's conclusion: the highly anticipated "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This marks a departure from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was exclusive to the pricier edition, a decision that drew criticism from SEGA. This positive change means players can look forward to enjoying this extra content just a month and a half after the game's official release.
